The word mission implies movement. When people ask what
the mission of KCOE is, we keep it simple: we are engaging
organizations to help them achieve world class performance.
We do that by coaching them in the principles and techniques of
Operational Excellence, the contemporary, cultural adaptation of
the world class system used by Toyota and others. Internally, we
are constantly creating and innovating around the system, our
plumb line.
Our core values are simple, too:
people matter...a lot (mutual trust and respect, all around)
make it better than you found it (constant improvement is part of my job)
Our supporting values are:
getting our priorities straight (safety, quality, productivity, human development and cost, in that order!)
that customers are always first (but each person on the team is a customer)
teamwork matters (supporting the success of the teams above, below, and side to side)
pride (in the organization and each other)
